Taking Part in a documentary (Yesterday TV Channel), which was filmed over two days partly in my workshop and on site.
I have been signwriting restored buses of all ages for The London Bus Museum, recreating adverts and logos of the past for over 20 years.
So I was very pleased when the producer of a documentary series, Secrets of a Transport Museum, asked me if I would take part.
He took a lot of interest in my work and wanted to film me from the beginning, putting pencil to paper until the end of the project.
It began with the crew coming to my workshop to start the filming which took a whole day, and also interviewed me about my signwriting profession.
Another day was spent being filmed while I was signwriting at the museum.
As I wasn't used to having a camera pointed at me, my acting skills were a bit to be desired. But after the editing and some parts left on the cutting room floor, it didn't turn out too bad.
